OUR STRATEGY

Our Steering Group is committed to the delivery of our goals and objectives through our strategic plan. Our five-point strategy will guide our work in the run up to the 2023 elections and beyond.

1. Fundraise and build a campaign war chest to support competent, conscientious political candidates and encourage grassroots participation in federal, state and local government elections from 2023 onwards.

2. Facilitate and lead research in a range of areas and sectors, beginning with Nigeria’s constitution and political systems, to enlighten Nigerian youths and create an effective governance plan for youth-led political parties aligned with our values.

3. Explore all avenues in Nigeria and on the international scene to seek justice for Nigerians against human rights violations and atrocities committed by past and current governments, beginning with recent events linked to the #EndSARS movement.

4. Advocate for the removal of harmful vestiges or reminders of slave trade and colonialism in Nigeria, particularly where they exist solely as a tribute to colonial masters (e.g. statues, streets or buildings named after colonial masters, etc.).

5. Partner with groups and organisations that promote Nigerian history and cultural heritage.
